Booking
Conditions for Taste-Italia UK
- We
require the total course price per person for cookery courses
at the time of booking. Until this is received there is
no contract.
- No
contract exists until your payment has been received by
Taste-Italia. If the payment is not received on the due
date we are like wise not obliged to continue to hold your
place and are free to sell it.
- The
descriptive statements about the condition, quality and
standards of services offered are made in good faith. They
are to be taken as statements of opinion and not fact. We
are not liable for any difference between your opinions
and those expressed on those pages.
- The
programs offered are planned in advance. We reserve the
right to make changes if, for any reason, the named cook
is not available we reserve the right to substitute with
an other instructor. As the school uses seasonal ingredients
we reserve the right to change the class menu.
- The
classes require a minimum of six people, if we do not reach
the required numbers we reserve the right to reschedule
the course to another date.
- We
set minimum number and have a deadline of three days from
the start date for deciding whether to run the class. If
this happens the sole responsibility is to provide you another
date.
- Gift
vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of purchase and
can not be extended.
Our guarantee
1. We reserve the right to cancel any class for
insufficient participation and will let you know at least
three days before the start date.
2. We reserve the right to change the course menu and the
cook instructor at our discretion.
Cancellation
policy
TASTE-ITALIA
HAVE A NO REFUND POLICY
Short notice cancellations
If a class has been booked
and is cancelled within three days of the start date,
the course fee will be charged.
If cancelled within a week
of course start date, then clients can transfer
to another course date free of charge or nominate another
person
to take their place on the selected course.
Gift vouchers
are dated to time of purchase and must be used within a 12
month period.
Safety guidelines for Taste-Italia Courses
Required reading:
- Please
do not wear open toed shoes or high heels.
- Sensible
shoes with good grip are advisable.
- Arms
and legs should be covered.
- You
will be given a full length cooking apron to use on the
course.
- Long
hair must be tied back.

Open cuts or wounds must be adequately covered.
- Kitchens
can be dangerous places. Extra care should be taken when
handling knives, hot pans and liquids, cutting equipment
and electrical utensils.
- Please
advise us in writing prior to the course if you have any
food allergies

Wash
hands before the class and after each work operation.

People
who are ill should take advice their GP as to should they attend.

Keep
all surfaces clean using anti-bacterial wipes provided.

Keep
uncooked meat and fish separate from prepared cooked items.

Use
colour coded food boards for vegetables, fish, meat etc.

Keep
frozen food chilled until time to cook.

Exercise
extreme caution when handling HOT pans and liquids (use oven
gloves provided).
